Anecdote's physical site is temporarily closed due to hard times. If your order was placed prior to Feb. 14, please come for your regularly-scheduled pick-up time. If you're in talks about event hosting, that will not be affected.  Emily will continue to be available for hire for film projects (production design, set dress, props, wardrobe, producer, writer, director), though she is booked for two upcoming feature films through May of '22.

Anecdote was designed to fuel & support the Creative Community (which includes everyone!) 

Normally operating also as a cafe and bar, it's had to temporarily pivot due to the pandemic, but the bakery and studio elements are in full swing!

​

Open by appointment for bakery order pick-ups, space rental, pop-ups, or for private reservations.  Now offering DIY DATE BOXES for pick-up, or reserve a time to enjoy working on them together!  Classes are also being added soon to the Events/Booking section again.

Anecdote's STUDIO ANNEX is also open by appointment in the former Proper Barbershop space and can be rented out for small film/photography shoots, private classes, trunk shows, and more.  In addition, Emily from Studio Annex partners with Degotelo Studios for full video production needs.  She also freelances as a film Producer, Director, Project Manager, or in any Art Dept. role.  Feel free to reach out via email if you're looking to hire a video production team or crew member!

Anecdote is a female-minority-owned micro business and is doing its best to keep going during these tough times.  All health and safety precautions are being strictly observed, and in a time when expenses are far outweighing sales, your patronage is greatly appreciated!  Thank you to all of you who've been so supportive!

Order pies online here.  Pies are made to order and can be ready in 24hrs or more.  Please choose a specific pickup date and time as I'm having to schedule other work and deliveries around pickup appointments for the time being.  You can also donate pies here and I'll deliver them to frontline workers and neighbors-in-need.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL due to the planning & prep needed to fill orders with a 1-person team.
